Last night was the French Film Festival at UWA as part of the Festival of Perth. It was alright, some where amazing and others, well, very obscure and art-house.
I stayed over at Frankie's god parents house eating ice-cream and talking about our ideal guys (who turned out to be quite ridiculous) 'till the wee hours of the morning.
I watched Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette and trying to do my textiles homework, but couldn't resit drawing a couple of pages of the Dauphine de France.
Marie Antoinette is one of my favorite movies, the costumes and design is so rich, and the Sofia's vision is so different to other period dramas. Her use of 1980's music and American and English actors all really blances out perfectly.
